01

Information we collect

When you use Cluvia, we may process the information needed to provide puzzle browsing, publishing, interaction and recommendations:

  • Account details: email address, password credential, nickname and avatar.
  • Content: puzzles, images, guesses, likes, messages, gifts and reports you create or send.
  • Device and connection data: device model, operating system version, app version, device identifiers, IP address and access time.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, interactions and basic performance or error logs.
02

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve Cluvia, show relevant content, protect accounts, prevent abuse, handle reports and support users. We may also process information where required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users.

Camera, photo library, microphone and notification permissions are requested only when a related feature needs them. You can decline or later change these permissions in your device settings.

03

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here:

  • Account information is kept while your account exists.
  • User content is kept while the account exists, with a limited backup window of up to 30 days after account deletion.
  • Operational and safety logs may be kept for up to 12 months.
  • Transaction and risk records that must be retained by law are kept in a de-identified form after deletion.
04

When information is shared

Cluvia does not sell personal information. We share only what is needed:

  • When you choose to publish content or send it to another user.
  • With service providers that help operate storage, delivery, security and support, under contractual restrictions.
  • When you give explicit permission.
  • When disclosure is required by law or a valid legal request.
05

Your choices and rights

From inside the app, you can review or update your nickname, avatar and profile details, manage permissions, submit a data export request, and close your account.

Account deletion requires your current password and confirmation. Once confirmed, the account is immediately deactivated and cannot be used to sign in. There is no cooling-off or cancellation period. You may also use the in-app block and report tools to control interactions.

06

Protecting minors

Cluvia includes a minor mode with additional protections. It can disable stranger video calls, limit night-time sessions, cap call duration and apply per-purchase and daily spending limits. Reports involving minors are prioritised.

07

Security

We use transport encryption, access controls, least-privilege authorisation and operation auditing. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid putting identity documents, payment card details or home addresses in images, chats or profile fields.

08

Policy updates

When this policy changes, we update the version and effective date on this page. Material changes are announced in the app and may require you to confirm consent again.

09

Questions

If you have a privacy question or request, open a Safety ticket under Feedback & appeals in the Cluvia app. We will review the request and reply in the app.
